Review: Stones Throw at the Museum

Stones Throw threw down at the Natural Museum of History for one of the last stops on their USA tour. The tour consists of Peanut Butter Wolf accompanied by Mayer Hawthorne, Dam-Funk and James Pants. The event kicked off with James Pants followed by Mayer Hawthorne dropping his new-eyed soul flavah. After those two cats came out Dam-Funk who definitely lives up to his name. Closing the gig was PB Wolf who tends to rock it right with a thorough mix of aural refreshment. If you’re not familiar with Stones Throw you should get acquainted. The label was founded by Chris Manak (PB Wolf) and has grown over the years. This crew pumps out a considerable amount of beats and continues to keep heads nodding.
