N.E.R.D. @ BK Bowl

N.E.R.D. performed at Brooklyn Bowl on Wednesday for a hodgepodge crowd of folk. The event was a private party sponsored by Axe and Walmart. I’m assuming half the people there had some sort of affiliation with either entity, definitely on some corporate America shit. Apparently they were shooting a commercial, which was quite ironic considering how commercial it actually was. Dudes opened up with the Star Spangled Banner and then 40 minutes later they ended it with “Rock Star”. There was also a Lupe Fiasco cameo on “Everyone Nose” and then Pharell’s hype-man gave a “Thanks to Walmart for letting this happen”. They definitely know what they’re doing and put on a solid performance it was just too short of a set.
